Donate to support

BabyBuns for Life wants to identify and assist with the needs of families in the NICU community. We provide this service to hospitals at no cost. 100% of the funds received and donated to the organization are given back to the NICU community.

When a baby is born prematurely and has to stay in the Neonatal ICU, whether it’s for a few days or a few months, it can be an agonizing experience and a financial strain on the family. The Graves’ family knows and understands the heartache and turmoil associated with an extended NICU stay. They visited their son daily for 356 days.

Babybuns for Life Network wants families to know they are not alone. Bb4L offers personalized support during their NICU stay. Dana N. Griffin-Graves

Founder

Received her early education in the Petersburg and Chesterfield County Public School system graduating from Matoaca High School. Dana continued her education at Virginia State University, majoring in Accounting with a minor in Music. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from Walden University. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Science in Management and Leadership.

Arkell Graves (Vice President)

Co-founder

Graduated from Petersburg High School and attended college at Virginia State University majoring in Criminal Justice. Arkell Serve as one of the departmental leads at the Bureau of Prisons and has been employed with them for more than 20 years. He is an Army Veteran. He volunteers in several capacities in the community including an Assistant Football Coach for high school. He is a member of the 12th Masonic District.

Dr. Rebecca Branch-Griffin

Supervisor

A graduate of Petersburg Public Schools, obtained her Associate degree in Nursing from JTCC, Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Chapman College School of Nursing, Master of Science degree in Health

Dr. Satterwhite

Volunteer

A family nurse practitioner who completed her undergraduate and master’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, and her doctorate degree from Old Dominion University. She is currently working on a post masters certification in psych mental health nursing at the University of New Hampshire. Dr. Satterwhite has been in
